What were your goals coming into the fall season?
My goals coming into the fall season of my final year at Misericordia were honestly just to have fun and to try my best.
Did you approach matches differently this year than you have in the past?
Yes, I approached matches differently this year. I did not put as much pressure on myself to win and approached all my matches simply as if I had nothing to lose.
What are your training and practice mechanics like?
For me, personally, doing Crossfit was definitely a big factor in being physically prepared for matches. A lot of speed and agility exercises definitely helped to improve my game.
What school do you look forward to playing? Any player in particular?
I always enjoy playing Susquehanna. Their number one singles is a fantastic player and always plays a fair game.
Do you prefer playing singles or doubles?
I enjoy playing both doubles and singles equally. I am a better singles player than doubles, however, playing with Cassie Foy at first doubles has been an amazing experience. We work incredibly well together, and I enjoy every moment on the court with her.
What is your personal greatest achievement with your time at Misericordia?
I would say my greatest personal achievement has been getting to the semi-finals of the MAC Individual Championships two consecutive years.
