Welcome to Beyond the Bookshelves, where the librarians and staff of Mary Kintz Bevevino Library keep you updated on what is happening at the library.
The Bevevino Library is known across campus for having outstanding resources, such as books, databases, and librarians, to help you succeed in your courses.
The library also has other resources to help you ace that exam or paper.
If you left your phone or laptop charger in your room or car, the library has you covered. You can check out an Apple or Android charger and/or cord for two hours. Those items are available at the front desk.
While charging up your device, you can use that time to study in one of our study rooms. New this semester, students can reserve study rooms by scanning the QR code displayed on each room, making it easier than ever to secure a quiet space.
Across campus, it is known that the library loans out laptops when you’re having computer trouble. But you might not know that the library has a computer lab on its second floor.

The computer lab is available for students to use when the librarians are not using it for instruction. It has 25 computers, three of which are equipped with web cameras.
Sometimes, you might need to scan a document for class or an upcoming internship or job interview. You can use the library’s document scanner near the first-floor printers. The scanner gives the option to the user to email the document or you can share it directly to your Google Drive.
Lastly, the library is open until midnight, Sundays through Thursdays, during the fall and spring semesters.
