The Misericordia University Diversity in Athletics Committee sponsored Cougar Pride Night Oct. 11 during the women’s volleyball game versus Delaware Valley University.

The team rocked rainbow uniforms for the game, rallying for a 3-0 win against the Aggies. The Misericordia football team joined the crowd to show its support for the team.

During the event, Misericordia’s Gender & Sexualities Alliance Club hosted a bake sale to raise funds for anti-hate crime organizations. A 24-inch Roku TV giveaway was hosted, as well as a serving contest, all free for students who wished to participate.

The event was not only a success but a great opportunity for students to show their support for diversity and pride across campus. The big win for the volleyball team was a plus.
