Game Preview: Misericordia Vs. Albright

Mitchell Micale, Reporter

It’s week 10 of the College football season and the Misericordia Cougars are (7-1) and (6-0) in Conference play. Currently, they are tied for first alongside Delaware Valley once again, but with their last game versus King’s College it is has guaranteed that the Cougars will play a 11th game. This game could be a bowl game or possibly guarantee a spot in the Division 3 Playoffs for the Cougars. But as always the Cougars have enjoyed their 24hrs and now turn their attention to Albright who is (0-8) and (0-6) in Conference and have been struggling all year. Albright played the number 2 team in the nation in Mary Hardin-Baylor and got beat 91 to 7. It has been a rough year for a team that is usually know for winning but they would like nothing more than on there senior day than to ruin the Cougars miracle season. For the Cougars, this is the definition of a “TRAP GAME” on paper and all the experts will pick the Cougars to win. However, the Cougars should not let their confidence get the better of them and they must continue to work hard like they have all season. They want to continue their 1-0 streak this week, and if they are able to do that the Cougars should continue to roll and avoid the dreaded “TRAP GAME” and move to (8-1) so they are one step closer to the bigger goals that they have in mind.
