The Bevevino Library has kicked off the semester with a new research tool to support students in health‑related majors.

The tool, Dynamic Health, provides evidence-based information on diseases and disorders, treatments, laboratory tests, interventions, and drugs. It also includes information on treating patients from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, which could be helpful for students preparing for clinical situations.

Dynamic Health is mobile‑friendly, making it easy to look up information during clinical rotations or study sessions on the go. The resource is especially useful for students in Nursing, Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Social Work.  Dynamic Health can be accessed through the library’s website or LibGuides.

More Magazines, More Languages  

Since launching Libby at Misericordia, the library’s digital magazine collection has grown to 6,567 titles. Of those titles, the collection has more than 1,400 foreign-language magazines in 29 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, French, and Japanese; great for anyone looking for news from around the world.

Winter Olympics and Black History on Display   

The Bevevino Library is marking two major events this season with new first‑floor displays: the upcoming Winter Olympics in Italy and Black History Month.

Students can explore even more Olympic content through the library’s Olympic Games LibGuide, which features curated resources about past and present competitions. For Black History Month, librarians have also created a special collection of eBooks and audiobooks on Libby, showcasing Black history, culture, and voices.
