As the fall semester gets underway, the Mary Kintz Bevevino Library is excited to share several new additions designed to enhance the academic and recreational experience of Misericordia students, faculty, and staff.

Say Hello to ‘Libby.’

On September 15, the library officially launched Libby, a digital reading app that provides access to a wide range of popular fiction, nonfiction, and magazines, Libby has something for everyone. The app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play or can be accessed via desktop at misericordia.overdrive.com. Users simply log in with their MyMU credentials to get started.

With the launch, the library is featuring curated collections such as Academic Success, Spooky Season, Mercy Day 2025, and Hispanic Heritage Month. New themed collections will be added throughout the year to reflect holidays, campus events, and cultural observances.

Board and Card Games Now Available.

Need a break from the books? The library has introduced a small but growing collection of board and card games, available for checkout on the first floor. With a 7-day loan period, these games are perfect for a weekend gathering or a midweek mental reset. A full list of available titles can be found at https://libguides.misericordia.edu/games.

Mini Dry Erase Boards for Study Sessions.

Building on the popularity of our whiteboard wall and mobile whiteboard furniture, we’ve added mini dry erase boards to our offerings. These boards, complete with markers, are available at the front desk for in-library use and can be checked out for up to two hours—perfect for group work or solo study.

New Books and eBooks.

The Bevevino Library continues to expand its collection with new titles. Recent additions include Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green, The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, and Never Not Working by Malissa Clark.
