Did you know that the library has close to 700,000 eBooks available in our collection? Our collection contains an extensive range of topics and genres: literary classics, university press titles, children’s books, graphic novels, manuals, test prep, poetry, non-fiction, and fiction. All are just a click away by visiting the library’s homepage – https://www.misericordia.edu/library, and doing a search in the catalog. These titles can be read on desktop computer or mobile device.
Looking forward to future semesters, an eBook from the library’s extensive collection might be an option for your required or suggested reading list for your courses. Many titles are available for unlimited users, but some have a set number of users.
We know that some students might prefer listening to a book over reading one. With our partnership with Libby we can see if an audiobook of a title you are interested in is available within the platform. We can add to our Libby collection and you can could check out for 14 days.
In either case, eBook access or audiobook options, please reach out to your a librarian, who can assist you in determining user limits and availability.
And of course, we still love our print books! The library is currently adding new physical titles to support the curriculum. Over the next few weeks, keep an eye on the library’s Instagram, @mu__library for highlights of newly added books and visit the display on the library’s second floor to explore all recent additions.
