What are your personal goals to accomplish by season’s end?
My personal goal for this season is to hold nothing back. Sitting out last year with an injury, I really wanted to get the most out of my last season this year. It’s motivation to keep improving. There’s always room for improvement.
As senior, how do you set an example for the younger women?
I try to set an example for the younger kids by helping each other. If I see something that works really well or maybe something that we could do differently so it works better, I always share that with my teammates and try to encourage them to do the same. Whether a senior or a freshman, we all see things on the court and can contribute equally.
What were your team goals for the season?
Our teams goals this season were to grow together and communicate better. When we are all on the same page, we’re a great team and we’re ready to showcase that in the second half of the season.
With your team entering MAC play for the remainder of the season, what is the main thing you’d like to see adjusted?
Confidence is key! Knowing you’re the best team in the conference is half the battle of being the best team in the conference. We have a lot of great opportunities to prove that in the remainder of conference play.
What team do you look forward to playing the most every season?
I always look forward to playing King’s College each year. It’s a local conference rivalry and always a competitive game.
What has been your best personal achievement from freshman year until now?
My best personal achievement from my start here at Misericordia has been my educational growth. I’m now in my second year of graduate school in the DPT program. It’s a difficult program, especially being an athlete, but thankfully I’ve had lots of people to help support me through the process.
When the season is done, what is the number one thing you want to leave behind for coaches and teammates to remember you by?
The number one thing I want to leave behind is relentless hustle. Hustle is a mentality and a lot of people underestimate its effect on the game.
