The Dead Alchemist Society is planning to present an expanded spectacle for the student organization’s 23rd annual “Things that go Boom in the Night!” on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Amphitheater on campus. The event will take place during National Chemistry Week and is open free to the public.
This season’s popular event features new experiments, pumpkin makeovers and vomiting and fiery pumpkins. Students in the Dead Alchemist Society will also offer new and expanded activities for children, including hands-on experiments making slime and super bouncy balls.
In case of inclement weather, the annual event will be held in room 206 of Hafey-McCormick Science Hall.
