Role Model: Emma Couburn. She is an Olympic medalist in the steeplechase. Couburn has worked hard to reach her goals and understands the balance between enjoying life and being dedicated to running.

Pre-meet Ritual: Before the race our team always does a cheer at the starting line. After we do our team cheer, I always say a prayer with one of our assistant coaches and other teammates.

Thing I Enjoy the Most About Cross Country:

I love that cross-country is a team sport, but I am also able to set individual goals. Everyone is so supportive of each other.

Personal Goals: My goal for the team is to win conferences for the third year in a row. My individual goal is to make it to nationals.

Favorite Memory: Winning conferences on our home course last season.

Fun Fact: I have raised and shown sheep for the past 15 years.
